Zotac is launching a new model series with the AMP Extreme Airo, which starts with Nvidia’s high-end RTX 4090 card. The rounded initially, of course, is extensively illuminated, and, above all, a hugely large heat sink is equipped with three fans that are reminiscent of large case fans. This cooling solution gives Zotac enough leeway for factory overclocking, although Nvidia makes strict specifications here and only allows slight performance advantages over the original model ex works. Thus, primarily hobbyists benefit from the huge cooler and the power limit, which is increased by around 10%. Zotac recommends a 1,000-watt power supply, which seems appropriate because of the maximum board power of 495 watts. If you plan to upgrade the RTX 4090, you should find out whether your PC case offers enough space. The AMP Extreme Airo is 35.5 cm long and places a heavy load on the board with a weight of over 2 kg.
