Garmin Dash Cam 66W GPS-Enabled

Pros

  • Videos in 1440p resolution
  • Tiny and unobtrusive
  • Magnetic holder

Cons

  • No microSD card included

The Dash Cam 66W from Garmin is the successor to the Dash Cam 65W, which is currently available at the same price of just under £200. In contrast to its predecessor, the new dashcam offers 2560 x 1440 instead of Full HD. The videos are now recorded at 60 frames per second, while the 65W only delivers 30 frames per second. In addition, the 66W comes with an HDR function called Clarity HDR. Visually, a little has stayed the same. All dimensions, other features, and the field of view of 180 gads are identical. Annoyingly, the microSD card is not included with the new model but must be purchased separately.

However, it is still worth switching if you want better video quality. If you are still deciding between the two models, the Dash Cam 66W offers you more for your money.
