AMD exclusive partner Sapphire is launching the Nitro+ Radeon RX 6950 XT Pure, an absolute high-end graphics card whose massive housing design with more than three PCI slots wide and 32 cm long is unparalleled. The RX 6950 XT is AMD’s 2022 refresh of the RX 6900 XT, which offers around 5 to 10% more performance with faster memory, a significantly higher clock and an increased power limit. Compared to the Nvidia competition, it competes against the wickedly expensive GeForce RTX 3090 – and beats it in games without ray tracing, even with reference values. With the preset OC BIOS, Sapphire’s variant has an even higher power limit available and can still gain a few percentage points. In games with ray tracing, an issue in more titles, Nvidia remains ahead.
