The Anker Soundcore Space One Pro are the brand's more premium take on a budget noise-cancelling over-ear, priced at around £105. They build on the well-regarded Space One with a folding design that collapses down small for travel, LDAC support for higher-quality wireless audio, and Anker's usual generous feature set. Independent laboratory testing rates them very good for travel, and another strong-value entry in the Soundcore line.

Noise Cancelling and Sound

The headline is the noise cancelling. The test rated the Space One Pro's isolation excellent, keeping out the drone of aircraft cabins and the chatter of fellow commuters — genuinely impressive at this price, and the main reason they suit travel so well. The default sound is the crowd-pleasing, slightly bass-forward signature Soundcore is known for, and the companion app lets you reshape it with an equaliser and presets. LDAC support means Android listeners can stream at higher quality than the usual budget codecs allow.

Comfort, Battery and Folding Design

The test found the Space One Pro comfortable to wear for long periods, which matters as much as sound on a long flight. Battery life is a standout: the test measured 36.1 hours on a charge, easily covering even transcontinental trips between top-ups. The Pro's defining upgrade over the standard Space One is that it folds flat and inward, shrinking to a compact shape that slips into a bag far more neatly than a fixed-hinge design — a real travel advantage.

Connectivity and Features

Flexibility is a strength. As well as Bluetooth with multipoint, the test highlighted that the wired analog connection works whether the headphones are powered on or off — handy if the battery dies or you simply prefer a cable. On top sit adaptive noise cancelling, a transparency mode and app-based controls, giving you a feature set that punches above the modest price.

The Caveats

The compromises are minor and predictable for the money. The test noted that the Space One Pro ship with only a soft carrying pouch, which offers no structural protection — so they need a little care when stuffed into a full bag. There is also no two-prong adapter in the box for older in-flight entertainment systems. Neither is a dealbreaker, and both are easy to work around.

How It Compares

The Anker Soundcore Space One Pro are a value standout in our best over-ear headphones guide. They sit above Anker's own Soundcore Space Q45 and complement the in-ear Soundcore Space A40 for those who prefer earbuds. Against pricier rivals such as the Bose QuietComfort Headphones and Sennheiser Momentum 4, they give up a little polish and sound refinement but cost far less while matching them for isolation and battery. Verdict

The Anker Soundcore Space One Pro are one of the smartest budget buys in noise-cancelling headphones: excellent isolation, a huge 36-hour battery, comfortable long-wear fit, LDAC and a genuinely travel-friendly folding design, all for around £105. The soft-only case is the one thing to watch, and an easy compromise at the price. For frequent travellers who want big-brand features without the big-brand cost, they are an easy recommendation.

The Baseus Eli Sport 2 are budget open-ear earbuds with a light, comfortable fit, IP57 protection and good call quality. Sound is clear but bass-light without the app boost, and battery life is short - fair trade-offs at around 30 euros.
