A lunch box can be one shell, a fixed bento tray or a stack of lidded containers. Those arrangements behaved differently when juice reached a divider, a latch hit the floor or washing tested the fit of the parts. The recorded comparison covered 43 lunch boxes; its current sections name five recommendations and 32 other models.
What follows is recorded testing, translated. Nobody at Truthful Reviews has used any of these lunch boxes.
How they were assessed
Construction, materials, compartments, seals, latches, weight and accessories were recorded. Each box was pushed from a 78 cm dining table, then checked for dents, opened catches and displaced contents.
For leakage, boxes held bread and watery cut produce lid-down in a fridge for one hour, then were filled with water and inverted. Outward leakage and movement beneath internal dividers were recorded separately.
Every machine-washable model went through three dishwasher cycles before its seals, print, shape and colour were inspected. Hand-wash access, closure effort, hinges, clips and catches were also observed.

Top pick — Bjorki Jausenbox für unterwegs
The Bjorki stacks one large and two small containers, each with its own lid. Made mainly from rice fibre with some plastic, it measures 15.8 x 11.5 x 10.5 cm, among the smallest here. It includes 135 waterproof stickers, a spoon, fork, fruit pick and two replacement catches.
All three seals held when inverted. After the 78 cm drop, the outer catches opened but the individual lids retained the contents. The utensils withstood bending, although repeated use loosened their fit in the lid clips. Three dishwasher cycles produced no visible discolouration. These findings keep it as the recorded overall recommendation.

Stainless-steel alternative — Foxboxx Edelstahl Premium
The smallest of four Foxboxx sizes was assessed. Its stainless-steel body has a thick silicone lid seal, two slide-in dividers, five decorative bands and a replacement seal. The outer box retained liquid, but juice passed beneath the dividers. Repeated table drops left no dent and the latches stayed in place. The dividers also remained upright once slotted between the walls.
It is a notably small box and needs hand washing. Water marks and fingerprints remained visible on the polished surface, but its material, undented drop-test body and well-fitted parts earned the second recommendation.

Best compartment layout — My Vesperbox Bia
My Vesperbox Bia uses a Tritan shell with several fixed compartments in different sizes. Water and fruit juice remained inside during the leak assessments, and a table drop did not release the hinged closure or the contents. After three dishwasher cycles, the printed designs remained in place and the box had not changed shape or colour.
At 430 g, it was one of the heavier models, and its compartment sizes cannot be adjusted. The trade-off is a rigid, well-finished tray whose sections kept the packed foods apart in the recorded tests.

Largest recommendation — Bugucat Lunchbox Erwachsene
This plastic bento box holds 2 litres while weighing 350 g. Its clear lid covers several compartments with a silicone gasket and four click catches. A fork, small dressing pot and larger container are included; unwanted inserts can be left out.
The body and lid retained the contents in the drop, but the main gasket did not contain every watery ingredient. The four catches were comparatively stiff. The box dismantled for washing and showed no dishwasher warping. Its capacity and removable pieces make it the large-format recommendation.

With thermal jar — Omie OmieBox UP
The OmieBox UP combines a plastic outer box with a removable 350 ml thermal jar, a cooling pack beneath the smaller compartment, a divider and a replaceable name tag. Removing the jar enlarges the compartment. Complete weight was just under 800 g, falling to 420 g without jar and pack; dimensions were about 22 x 15.5 x 7.5 cm.
The jar retained its starting temperature for several hours. A loose silicone gasket stopped outward leakage, although juice crossed beneath the small divider and seating the gasket was fiddly. Its click closure stayed shut in the drop. Every seal and divider was removed for hand washing, so the extra hardware brings more parts to handle.
