With the Delta S, Asus has added another gaming headset from its well-known Republic Of Gamers (ROG) gaming series to its range. The high-end headset changes hands for under £200, putting it in the upper class. Of course, the headset comes with eye-catching and highly chic, double-sided RGB lighting that masters Aura Sync and can be configured not only in the extensive Armoury Crate software. A dedicated light switch on the ear cup activates a special Soundwave mode that lights up the lighting in sync with your voice - a nice gimmick for streamers. The quality of the headset is second to none: The headband is made of metal, and the 1.5 metre-long USB cable is thickly sheathed. Unfortunately, you caot remove the USB cable, as it is permanently installed. Given the high purchase price, this is a pity, but cable damage should only occur in the rarest extreme cases due to the thick sheathing. The cable is coected with USB-C or an included USB-A adapter. In terms of sound, the model also plays in the Champions League. The sound impression is well-balanced, which means you can locate your enemies better in competitive games using virtual surround sound. The Asus is also ideally suited for listening to music, no matter what genre you indulge in. Last but not least, the microphone scores excellent voice transmission and improved background noise suppression.

3.4/5
Headphones

The Baseus Eli Sport 2 are budget open-ear earbuds with a light, comfortable fit, IP57 protection and good call quality. Sound is clear but bass-light without the app boost, and battery life is short - fair trade-offs at around 30 euros.
