Synology DS225+ Review: A Timid Evolution of an Entry-Level NAS
A modest evolution of the DS224+, the entry-level two-bay DS225+ adds a 2.5GbE Ethernet port but is otherwise near-identical: the same ageing Intel Celeron J4125, 2GB of non-ECC DDR4 and plastic chassis. Excellent DSM software, but dropped hardware transcoding makes it a missed opportunity.
