Paint sprayers suit broad surfaces, repeated parts and detailed shapes where a consistent coat matters more than the simplicity of a brush or roller. This recorded group test covered nine HVLP systems, ranging from compact cordless guns to split units with shoulder-carried blowers and a corded machine with a long hose.
What follows is recorded testing, translated. Nobody at Truthful Reviews has used these paint sprayers.
The Wagner W 590 Flexio remains the clear all-round recommendation. The Bosch EasySpray 18V-100 is the lighter cordless alternative for smaller work, while the Einhell TC-SY 600 S is the straightforward corded starter choice. The other six tested machines are retained below, including their real capacities, flow rates, runtime or construction findings wherever the source records them.
What separates these systems
All nine tested products use HVLP — high volume, low pressure — rather than airless pumping. HVLP commonly works at 0.2–0.7 bar, moving plenty of air while applying relatively little pressure. It produces a fine pattern and is generally strongest on small to medium projects and thinner materials such as glazes and lacquers. High-viscosity wall paint exposed the limits of several machines, even after thinning.
Airless equipment was included only as category context, not as part of this nine-model field. It forces material through a nozzle at 120–250 bar, bringing more throughput for large walls, ceilings and façades but also more overspray and more involved cleaning. A compressor and conventional spray gun can also cover large areas, though the recorded comparison described still more spray mist and set-up effort.
The practical variables were viscosity, nozzle size, pressure and paint flow. A viscosity cup indicates how readily material flows, while nozzle orientation changes the pattern between vertical, horizontal and round. Cordless systems reduce the amount of cable around a job but introduce finite runtime; the corded machines maintained output without charging pauses.
How the results were recorded
Build, finish, fittings, nozzle changes, hose and cable length, container closure and general handling were examined first. Each model was then run with water so that spray width, pressure, atomisation, pump start-up and control response could be compared before paint was introduced.
A fixed quantity of ordinary wall paint was filtered and thinned with 10% water, then cross-sprayed onto smooth panels. Coverage, droplets, runs and pattern consistency were assessed. Lightly thinned glaze was subsequently applied to wooden battens to expose control over finer work. Cleaning access and dismantling time were compared, noise was measured from 1 m, and spray-gun weight was recorded. The broader source allowed at least 20 minutes for a thorough clean, making accessibility more than a minor detail.
Best overall — Wagner W 590 Flexio
The W 590 Flexio combined the most versatile material handling with the most controlled application. Its case contained a blower, two spray attachments with their own containers and neatly arranged accessories. The parts sat properly without rattling and felt solid, although the case itself did not quite match the finish of the equipment inside.
The two attachments divide the work by viscosity. The smaller 800 ml container is intended for glazes and thin lacquers; the larger attachment handles wall paint. Mains power gave the turbine uninterrupted output, and the on/off control could be reached from either side of the body.
Its recorded spray pattern was notably even, with the working width adjustable from very narrow to broad. A comparatively wide pickup tube can rotate towards the front or rear of the container, maintaining the feed across different working angles. At 500 ml/min, the application was full and opaque without immediately producing runs.
Control is the decisive advantage. Airflow is continuously adjustable at the turbine, with markings 1–6 for thinner materials and 6–8 for thicker paint. A separate ring regulates material flow, and a slider above the larger nozzle changes jet width. Together these controls made the output easier to tune than the rest of the field. The machine was also recorded as pleasantly subdued in operation.
Its components separated cleanly and remained easy to reach, with little residue left after cleaning. The compromises were narrower than its ability: thick wall paint still needed thinning in the recorded work, the complete gun felt heavier than smaller rivals, and the power cable limits movement. None displaced it as the best-balanced recommendation.

Best cordless alternative — Bosch EasySpray 18V-100
Bosch splits the EasySpray into an 18 V shoulder-carried blower and a hose-fed spray gun. Moving the blower mass away from the hand made the gun exceptionally light and the whole arrangement easy to handle, particularly on smaller indoor and outdoor projects. Pressure was adequate rather than abundant, so it did not match the Wagner's pace or authority.
With either of its two nozzle sizes matched to the material viscosity, the Bosch produced a clean, even pattern. Thin glaze passed without interruptions; thicker wall paint remained workable but took markedly longer. Flow stayed stable during longer spraying periods, and the blower produced a constant tone likened to a vacuum cleaner.
The drawbacks appeared away from the spray pattern. The scale inside the measuring cup was difficult to read while filling, and the many edges, recesses and moulded details made cleaning more laborious than it needed to be. Its recommendation is therefore specific: light cordless handling takes priority over high output.

Straightforward corded choice — Einhell TC-SY 600 S
The TC-SY 600 S also separates the blower from the gun, this time with continuous corded output. Its stable plastic parts were neatly assembled, and the shoulder arrangement kept the spray gun light. Two interchangeable nozzles — 2.5 mm and 3 mm — broaden its material range, while the trigger response was quick once the blower was running.
Nominal flow of about 1,000 ml/min is generous. A small sprung wheel behind the trigger adjusts output, but the control was neither especially fine nor lockable. Thin glaze produced an even, fairly clean pattern, albeit with considerable mist. High-viscosity wall paint was much less convincing: even after the test's 10% dilution, short interruptions spoiled the pattern, making this a better fit for occasional furniture, fence and timber work than a large wall-sized job.
The blower's continuous hum was comparatively loud. On the positive side, the container and nozzle detached easily, all relevant areas were accessible, and cleaning was quick. The moulded resting point for placing the gun on the blower felt too insecure. The source nevertheless retained the Einhell as its simpler starter recommendation.

Litheli U20 — a polished cordless design whose battery also works as a power bank. Wall paint repeatedly stuttered and left an uneven pattern, while glaze application was better; runtime ended after two container fills, and the first clean broke both the float and part of the nozzle, leaving the build as the larger concern. Verdict
The Wagner W 590 Flexio is the most complete choice here: it combines an even pattern, 500 ml/min flow, broad adjustment, two viscosity-specific attachments and accessible cleaning. The Bosch EasySpray 18V-100 trades output for a notably light cordless gun, while the Einhell TC-SY 600 S offers fast response and high flow for thinner materials but is less composed with thick wall paint.
The remaining machines each preserve a narrower case. Worx combines four nozzle sizes with manageable weight; the larger Bosch models favour reach or container capacity; and the Litheli and Tilswall are held back by pattern and construction findings. The original nine-model set and recommendation order remain intact.
