With the Laserjet Pro MFP 4102dwe, HP wants to appeal to business customers who wish to equip workgroups with high print, scan and copy volumes with an efficient system. HP is particularly emphasising the HP+ subscription with an extended warranty and advanced app features, which is free for the first two years. On the other hand, it also ensures that the printer maintains an internet coection and that only original toners can be used.nMeanwhile, HP offers its paid subscription service Instant Ink for toners as well, which incurs ongoing costs but reduces the overall cost per page when printing regularly. In addition, the delivery of new toner is automatic with the subscription model. The printer itself has a precise and fast printing machine that can print up to 40 pages per minute of text documents - but only in black and white.
