With their meagre ruing costs, ink tank printers are attracting more and more attention from office managers. HP is targeting this group with the Smart Tank 7605. The multifunctional ink tank printer has an ADF feeder that is very practical for office purposes and can be used to scan and make copies quickly. However, the feeder can only scan on one side, which makes manual turning necessary for double-sided documents. The printing unit works cleanly but is not the fastest. A little patience is required, especially for colour printing.nFor smaller workgroups with low to medium print volumes, however, the Smart Tank 7605 is fast enough. Energy consumption remains low both during printing and in standby and idle mode. Ink for hundreds of pages is already included in the scope of delivery, and replacement ink is comparatively inexpensive. The network coection is either via LAN or WLAN.
