Our Verdict

With the F25 Ultra, Roborock takes a real leap forward in the wet-dry vacuum domain. This premium model introduces 150°C steam cleaning, 22,000 Pa suction power, and advanced maintenance management. At €799, it competes directly with premium models like the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist and Dreame H15 Pro Heat, but offers superior specifications. The F25 Ultra combines aspiration and mopping in one movement, with a motorized roller that cleans edge-to-edge while its DirTect sensor automatically adjusts power based on dirt levels. The large 1L clean water tank and excellent battery life (up to 60 minutes) make it suitable for homes up to 80m². While expensive, it justifies its premium price with comprehensive features, exceptional maneuverability, and minimal maintenance requirements.

A Design Without Renewal

The F25 Ultra adopts most of the aesthetic elements from the F25 ACE, featuring a fairly wide body that tapers on the upper half and an imposing cleaning head at the base, primarily covered in grey and black plastics.

The handle facilitates grip and has three buttons: one to turn the device on and off, another to switch between different modes, and a third to start auto-cleaning.

A display located on the upper part of the vacuum body shows the battery status, selected mode, and any alerts, such as when you need to fill the clean water tank or empty the dirty water reservoir.

The latter is located on the vacuum body, directly accessible from the front. It's large enough that you don't have to empty it too often during cleaning, and it also features a filter and screen, allowing solid waste to be separated from dirty water.

The clean water tank is located at the base of the vacuum, making it easier to handle. It's naturally removable and also has a dedicated cleaning solution compartment, allowing the F25 Ultra to automatically add it during floor cleaning.

Edge-to-Edge Cleaning

The F25 Ultra's brush roller is designed to clean close to baseboards. The suction head offers almost complete edge-to-edge cleaning, with less than a millimeter of unreached area along walls.

In use, you simply need to slowly follow the baseboards for water and debris to be properly suctioned on the sides. Roborock has also equipped the F25 Ultra base with an LED, allowing you to illuminate dirt during cleaning so you don't miss it.

Despite its competition-level equipment, the Roborock F25 Ultra remains practical to handle, particularly thanks to its motorized wheels and substantial turning radius that allows you to steer it effortlessly. Of course, it can be used flat, providing easy access under furniture and cleaning under a bed or sofa.

Finally, the finishes and build quality are excellent, with robust materials and no notable play.

Very Meticulous Cleaning

On paper, the Roborock F25 Ultra displays impressive specifications. With suction power reaching 22,000 Pa and 33 N of pressure exerted on the floor, it promises particularly effective cleaning. In reality, performance lives up to expectations and it effortlessly swallows everything in its path: fine dust, pet hair, crumbs, or spilled liquids—everything disappears in a single pass. Even a spilled glass of fruit juice is vacuumed up in seconds, and the surface comes out almost dry, without traces and without greasy or sticky residue.

The F25 Ultra combines suction and mopping in one movement. Its motorized roller spins quickly, continuously moistens the floor, and cleans edge-to-edge. Thanks to the dual-edge design and JawScrapers system, dirt is collected even in corners, while hair and pet fur don't wrap around the roller. The internal squeegee applies constant pressure to avoid water marks, and the integrated LED helps spot fine dust, particularly in poorly lit areas.

Intelligent Dirt Detection

During mopping, the vacuum automatically adapts its power thanks to the DirTect sensor, which measures the dirt level in real-time to adjust suction and water flow.

Where the F25 Ultra truly distinguishes itself is with its two high-temperature cleaning modes. The steam mode, called VaporFlow, heats water up to 150°C before diffusing it through six nozzles angled at 48°. This steam dissolves dried stains, eliminates more than 99.99% of bacteria and allergens, and leaves the floor perfectly clean without damaging it, even on varnished wood surfaces. You can actually see its effectiveness, as the cleaning head steams during operation. This mode is particularly formidable on stubborn and greasy stains, conquering them effortlessly.

The hot water mode, WaveFlow, heats water to 85°C to tackle grease and kitchen stains. It's also through this mode (and cold cleaning) that the F25 Ultra can add cleaning solution, allowing most stains to be eliminated effortlessly. This dual system makes the F25 Ultra a complete solution, capable of handling both everyday dirt and the most stubborn stains.

However, these two modes require a heating time of about 30 seconds before the water is hot, or up to a minute to produce steam. The F25 Ultra remains usable during heating, which somewhat reduces the constraint of having to wait.

Finally, a last mode only vacuums liquids and dirt without mopping floors, which can be practical for vacuuming spilled water without necessarily re-mopping the floors.

Exceptional Results

Regardless of the mode chosen, floors come out particularly clean, although some stubborn and dried stains may require going over them several times. Moreover, the roller is constantly scraped, which prevents spreading dirt throughout the house.

Additionally, it leaves no streaks or roller marks in its wake, which some competitors tend to do. However, after use, the F25 Ultra sometimes tends to leave a small puddle on the floor where you stop it, which requires wiping before transporting it to its station.

Impressive Battery Life

Regarding battery life, Roborock announces up to 60 minutes of operation. In practice, this duration varies according to cleaning intensity: around 45 minutes in automatic mode, and rather 25 to 30 minutes using steam or hot water. These figures remain very decent for a device in this category, especially since the 4,000 mAh battery fully recharges in about three hours on the base. This allows you to chain several cleaning sessions in the day without constraint. For example, I was able to clean approximately 65 m² in steam mode for about 30 minutes, having used just over half the battery. Moreover, I neither had to fill the water tank nor empty the dirty water one, which is particularly appreciated, knowing that most competing products don't manage as well.

Excellent Maneuverability

Despite its power and size, the F25 Ultra remains very maneuverable. Its SlideTech 2.0 system assists movements thanks to two intelligent motorized wheels that detect the force exerted and adjust traction in real-time. Handling is smooth, turns are taken easily, and steering remains stable. Thanks to the FlatReach 2.0 system, the vacuum body can extend flat up to 12.5 cm to pass under furniture, without power loss. An internal gyroscope maintains motor balance and prevents any water leak, while it's possible to control it remotely from the application to clean under a bed or sofa without bending down.

Feature-Rich Application

The F25 Ultra can be paired with the Roborock application, which provides numerous customization options and some useful controls.

These include the ability to adjust water flow and roller rotation speed, as well as auto-cleaning parameters. You can indeed define whether it should be done with hot water or steam and whether it should be standard or intensive. An option also allows the device to automatically determine the intensity of auto-cleaning, based on dirt detected during floor mopping.

You can also start remote auto-cleaning, schedule it to run automatically every night, and change settings so it starts as soon as you place the F25 Ultra on its station.

Similarly, drying settings are adjustable, particularly allowing you to choose between fast or silent mode.

The application also allows you to adjust floor cleaning settings, letting you adjust suction power, water flow, detergent quantity, and even the assistance level of motorized wheels, according to your preferences.

Finally, like the Dreame H15, the Roborock F25 Ultra can be controlled from the application when it's flat. This option allows you to make the vacuum move forward or backward from your smartphone, for example to clean under a bed or large sofa without having to contort yourself.

Simplified Maintenance

The Roborock F25 Ultra takes care of its own maintenance. Its automatic cleaning base takes care of washing the roller with hot water up to 90°C or even steam, before drying it with hot air. The complete cycle lasts about five minutes in fast mode or about twenty minutes in silent mode.

This system prevents the roller from staying damp too long, a real plus for preventing bad odors, bacteria, and mold. In practice, even after several days of use and numerous auto-cleaning cycles, the F25 Ultra roller remains clean and without unpleasant odor.

Of course, some manual intervention remains necessary: you need to fill the one-liter clean water tank and empty the dirty water one after each session. With its large clean water tank, it can cover between 50 and 80 m² depending on the level of dirt or amount of water used. The 900 mL dirty water tank allows cleaning a large enough area without needing to empty it too frequently during floor mopping.

Easy Maintenance

Its maintenance is moreover very simple: just remove the tank by the handle, remove the small filter that retains solid debris, then pour the contents into the sink or toilet. The separator filter, equipped with a screen, effectively prevents hair and dirt from mixing with water, thus avoiding any risk of obstruction. You just need to remember to manually remove this waste before reassembling everything. It's not very glamorous, but it's simple and quick.

Removable parts are also maintained hassle-free. The roller can be removed with one click, but the station already does an excellent job: even after several weeks, no hair or fur wraps around it, despite my four-legged friend shedding theirs throughout the house.

Regarding maintenance, the F25 Ultra therefore remains very easy to live with: no dust bag, no mop to wash, and virtually no expensive consumables. Detergent dosing is done automatically thanks to its dedicated tank, a real comfort gain compared to entry-level models.

As for the base, an occasional wipe is more than enough to keep it clean.

Price and Availability

The Roborock F25 Ultra is available for €799. This is a relatively high price, justified by the impressive performance and features of the product.

At this price point, it competes directly with premium models like the Tineco Floor One S9 Artist (€900) and Dreame H15 Pro Heat, but offers superior specifications to both.
